If you are a bargain hunter and like to save money, then listen carefully.
For most households, a budget is no more than a spending plan.  Isn’t that the truth?  Any spending plan can and will help you see where your money is going.  What it does is fits your spending to your income.  It reflects how we get the things we want and need the most, while being ready and prepared for bills we must pay every month.  I love to read about and talk about the “best ways to save money” and great “advice on saving money”.
Especially in this economy as a stay at home mother, I can’t get enough about how to save money and reading books about saving money as well.

So today I want to give you some great “secrets”on how to save money, and believe me its not anything real difficult but practical.
Some of these little “secrets” are things that people may not think about and hopefully it will help you out today.

Secrets for today:  If you are a responsible spender, take out a credit card that rewards your loyalty. When you pay off the bill every month, use a card that promises a cash reward and bank the money. Use your reward credit card smartly and you could end up with a very nice windfall for your rainy day fund.

Sign up for a grocery shopping membership card. At the bottom of your store receipt, you will see a print out that states how much you save each week. It really adds up. You can easily save an average of $15 on each weekly grocery trip. Add that amount, each week, to your savings cookie jar.

Finally, if you must use credit cards cut up those you can do without.  Credit cards are something that I hate. As of Jul 09 we have been credit card free for a whole year..
Its a great feeling.
Take these secrets today and apply them.  If you can’t apply anything that you read or learn about(of course if its good), then what’s the point.

Take care, till next time’s secrets.
